IAN RABB
Managing Director
Ian has worked tirelessly over the past 20 years in the areas of mental health, addictions and homelessness and is passionate about helping people live their best life. He is an interventionist assisting hundreds of people find recovery from multiple forms of addiction and helping people on their sobriety journey. He is highly regarded as an expert and is a leader in understanding and implementing state-of-the-art techniques and processes to help people maintain sobriety.
Ian was recently appointed as the Chief Clinics Officer for Universal Ibogaine, a life sciences company with a mission to research and deliver medicalized ibogaine-centered addiction care. Kelburn Recovery Centre, acquired by Universal Ibogaine, recently announced Ian as Managing Director. These positions are being held concurrently to maximize efforts towards substance use and mental health treatment in a private setting.
Ian was the visionary founding member of Aurora Recovery Centre in Gimli Manitoba, and prior to his appointment at Universal Ibogaine, he held the position of Director of Business Development at Edgewood Health Network, Canada’s only national addiction treatment centre brand. He speaks internationally on addiction issues and is frequently sought as an addictions expert.

OLGA SHMELOVA

Olga is a Mental Health Clinician, Certified psychotherapist, instructor, trainings developer and facilitator. Olga has received additional training in EMDR, Art-therapy, Family System’s therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Narrative therapy. She has fifteen years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families who struggle with mental health challenges and addictions. Olga specializes in Trauma therapy and the focus of her approach is to help her clients to live meaningful lives. Her passion lies in challenging conventional mainstream approaches and systems that deliver mental health and addiction treatment services.

Dr. Josh Nepon
MD, FRCPC
Psychiatrist
Dr. Joshua Nepon is an Assistant Professor with the University of Manitoba, Max Rady College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and has clinical roles as a staff psychiatrist at the Health Sciences Centre and is the Director of the Co-Occurring Disorders Program (CODI). As a part of CODI he undertakes clinical duties in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and participates in medical student and resident teaching and supervision. He also chairs the Standards Committee for Adult Mental Health for Shared Health Manitoba. He completed his training at the University of Manitoba.
